The question behind the project

What is the business actually trying to accomplish?

Sometimes “we need a new website” means customers cannot tell what you do. Sometimes “we need SEO” means the offer does not answer the questions people are searching for. Sometimes “we need AI” means a manual process is eating the team alive.

The Web-ster finds the problem underneath the request—then builds the clearest, most useful way forward.

Founder-led and hands-on

Work directly with Richard Webster.

The Web-ster brings together the things that usually get separated: the business goal, the customer’s language, the technology, the research, and the practical work of getting it live.

That makes it a strong fit for growing organizations and teams with a digital problem that does not fit neatly into one box.

Good questions

Before we start.

Do you only build websites?

No. A website may be the visible part of the problem, but the real need could be clearer messaging, stronger visibility, a better workflow, an internal app, or reliable research. The work starts with the outcome—not a predetermined deliverable.

Can you improve something we already have?

Yes. The Web-ster can audit, repair, reposition, rebuild, connect, or extend an existing website or digital system. Starting over only makes sense when it is genuinely the better path.

Do you work with local and online businesses?

Both. The right strategy depends on how the business sells: local, service-area, ecommerce, national, B2B, nonprofit, or a hybrid. The work is shaped around the actual business model.

Does every project use AI?

No. AI is useful when it improves speed, access, analysis, or consistency. It should not be added for show, and important work still needs appropriate human judgment and review.

What happens first?

You tell Richard what you are trying to solve, what is getting in the way, and what a useful result would look like. Then The Web-ster recommends the smallest sensible next step.

Start with the problem

What are you trying to make work better?

You do not need a polished brief. Share what is happening, what you want to change, and what keeps getting in the way. Your note goes directly to Richard.
